AMA Doctor Finder provides information on virtually every licensed physician in the United States and its possessions. All physician credential data have been verified for accuracy and authenticated by accrediting agencies, medical schools, residency training programs, licensing and certifying boards, and other data sources.

Health Education Brochures in Multiple Languages
Electronic access to over 200 health education brochures in 24 different languages. This project is in partnership with the Utah Department of Health's Bureau of Primary Care, Rural and Ethnic Health to improve access to health materials in multiple languages. We wish to thank the Bureau for providing the original documents, the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the generous LSTA grant that provided 100% of the funds for the project, and the Utah State Library Division for administering the grant.

Site provides links to specific, evaluated information resources on the www selected by librarians and information professionals at leading academic centers in the Midwest. Selection emphasizes quality information aimed at assisting health care professionals as well as consumers in meeting their health information needs.

In an international effort to maximize the use of the Internet's health care resources, MedHunt searches HON's database and lists reviewed and unreviewed sites in the initial results.
Health-Track
Supported by the Pew Charitable Trusts, Health-Track will help American families and communities identify and track the links between environmental hazards and illnesses and to provide researchers and public health officials with the necessary tools to prevent disease. News, web resources, and reports such as Cancer Mapping provide information on environmental health risks nationwide.
HealthGate Home Page
Commercial site provides free Medline as well as links to CancerLit database and information on hot topics. Search topics in the Wellness Center or Healthy Living areas as well. Some information may require a fee or subscription.

Healthfinder is a gateway to consumer health and human services information web site from the United States government. Consumers can select online publications, clearinghouses, databases, web sites, and support and self-help groups as well as government and non-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public.
