BookFlix: Scholastic BookFlix pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. By linking fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.
Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database: Children's Literature reviewers read and critically review more than 4,000 books annually. Our mission is to help teachers, librarians, childcare providers and parents make appropriate literary choices for children. Each month Children's Literature features interviews with children's book authors and illustrators. Also each month Children's Literature features several sets of themed reviews and these are archived for continued reference.
Gale Books and Authors: Books & Authors offers new ways to explore the endless possibilities and combinations of books, authors, genres and topics. The ideal convergence of science and serendipity, this online resource leverages the Internet's unique capacity to create, build, communicate and sustain communities of readers.
Gale Virtual Reference Library: Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7.
OverDrive: Download digital audiobooks, eBooks and videos.
Tumblebooks: The TumbleBook Library is a collection of free interactive animated talking storybooks for children. Children can chose to read the text or have the stories read to them. Some books feature "Word Help" to assist children in sounding out words. There are also book-related puzzles and games to play. Stories are available in English, Spanish, French and Chinese.

Gale Biography Resource Center: Gale Biography Resource Center includes more than 300,000 biographies from throughout history, the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Reference resources, periodical articles and portraits.
Gale Literature Resource Center: Find up-to-date biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism and reviews on more than 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world, supplemented by the scholarly materials of the Scribner Writers Series and Twayne's World, U.S., and English Authors Series.

ProQuest AncestryPlus: Over 1.2 billion records in over 3,000 databases. A source for conducting genealogical and local history research . Included are digitized images of the U.S. Federal Census from 1790 on, The American Geneaological Biographical Index, Passe nger and Immigration Lists Index, and more. * in library use only
ProQuest Heritage Quest: Research for tracing family history and American culture, for beginning and professional genealogists. Includes o riginal page images for all documents.
Sanborn Maps of Maryland: Sanborn maps are large-scale plans of a city or a town drawn at a scale of 50 feet to an inch. The maps list street blocks and building numbers including numbers in use at the time the map was made and previous numbers.

Gale US History Resource Center: Provides integrated access to over 4,000 historical (primary) documents, articles from more than 30 reference titles, and over 110 full-text journal covering themes, events, individuals and periods in U.S. history from pre-Colonial times to the present. The material also includes citations from over 180 additional history journals from the Institute for Scientific Information's Arts and Humanities Citation Index, as well as the entire ’American Journey Online’ series books.

Tutor.com: Live homework help is available seven days a week from 2 p.m. through 12:00 a.m. Eastern time in the subjects of math, science, social studies, and English. Proquest Research Library: ProQuest Research Library provides one-stop access to a wide range of popular academic subjects. The database includes more than 4,050 titles—nearly 2,800 in full text—from 1971 forward. It features a highly-respected, diversified mix of scholarly journals, trade publications, magazines, and newspapers.

Consumer Reports: Product reviews and Ratings on cars, appliances, electronics and more.
EBSCO Auto Repair Reference Center: The Auto Repair Reference Center is a full text database containing information on Repair procedures, service bulletins, service recalls, wiring diagrams, labor and quick tips for automobiles produced between 1954-2001. Not all types of automobiles are represented in the database and not all information is available for those automobiles that are represented in the database.
Mango Languages: Mango Languages is an online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. Mango uses real-life situations and actual conversations to more effectively teach a new language.
OCLC Maryland Library Catalog: Search all Maryland Public Library catalogs with OCLC FirstSearch. Underlying FirstSearch is the WorldCat database, the most comprehensive and up-to-date bibliographic resource available.
Legal Forms From Thompson - Gale: Gale's Legal Forms has thousands of legal forms available from all 50 of the United States. Each state has at least 1000, and some as many as 3000, unique legal forms in the database. Each form is downloadable in at least Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, while many also are available in WordPerfect and Text formats. Forms are arranged by state, then by topic, such as Divorce, Real Estate and Wills. Each topic is subdivided when appropriate, such as divorce/child custody and divorce/property. A great do-it-yourself resource for legal assistance.

Gale Testing and Education Reference Center: This online education resource provides everything a student needs to learn more about further education and assists in making informed decisions on their future from one single, handy database. Testing & Education Reference Center also features interactive online practice tests for preparatory examinations including entrance exams and certification and licensing tests. Some of the standardized tests included are: AP exam, SAT, GRE, civil service exams for places of employment like the U.S. Post Office, NCLEX for nurses, real estate, military, PRAXIS for teachers, and GED. In addition to the standardized tests, this resource offers online information about private high schools, colleges and universities, graduate schools, and specialty schools.
