MasterFILE Premier: Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also includes more than 350 full text reference books, 84,074 biographies, 86,132 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags.
OCLC FirstSearch: Underlying FirstSearch is the WorldCat database, the most comprehensive and up-to-date bibliographic resource available. Your users will find relevant records quickly and the location of resources—in your collection or at other libraries locally and around the globe—with the click of a button.
Points of View: Points of View is designed to assist researchers in understanding the full scope of controversial subjects. High school and undergraduate students can use Points of View as a guide to debate, developing arguments, writing position papers, and for development of critical thinking skills. Each Points of View Essay includes a series of questions and additional material to generate further thought. Also included are thousands of supporting articles from the world’s top political and societal publications.

Biography Resource Center: More than 300,000 biographies throughout history, the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Reference resources, periodical articles and portraits.
Children's Literature Comprehensive Database: Children's Literature reviewers read and critically review more than 4,000 books annually. Our mission is to help teachers, librarians, childcare providers and parents make appropriate literary choices for children. Each month Children's Literature features interviews with children's book authors and illustrators. Also each month Children's Literature features several sets of themed reviews and these are archived for continued reference.
Literature Resource Center: More than 300,000 biographies throughout history, the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Refere nce resources, periodical articles and portraits.
Novelist: NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, Book Disc ussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles. For school media specialists and teachers there are Standards-Based Thematic Units and Picture Book Extenders, as well as specific teaching guides for using fiction in the classroom.
Novelist K-8: NoveList K-8 allows you to discover the fiction titles that are popular with young readers as well as titles to u se in your classroom. The NoveList Learning Center provides a complete introduction to the product and shows you how to use N oveList to meet the reading needs of your students. Business Source Elite: Provides full text for over 1,100 scholarly business journals dating
Regional Business News: Regional Business News incorporates 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States
Thomson - Gale Legal Forms: Gale's Legal Forms has thousands of legal forms available from all 50 of the United States. Each state has at least 1000, and some as many as 3000, unique legal forms in the database. Each form is downloadable in at least Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, while many also are available in WordPerfect and Text formats. Forms are arranged by state, then by topic, such as Divorce, Real Estate and Wills. Each topic is subdivided when appropriate, such as divorce/child custody and divorce/property. A great do-it-yourself resource for legal assistance. By teaming with U.S. Legal Forms, the latest legal forms are available quickly and easily.

Ebsco Eldercare: EBSCO Publishing, through a recent partnership with CareScout, is pleased to offer EBSCO Eldercare. This resource serves as a reliable source of eldercare-related information that can be used to empower consumers to make intelligent, informed eldercare decisions. CareScout's national senior care database is the underlying foundation of EBSCO Eldercare.
Health Source-Consumer Edition: Search for information on health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences, and n utrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. It features searchable full text for over 190 j ournals including Consumer Reports on Health and Men's Health, as well as abstracts and indexing for ove r 205 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications.
Health Source: Nursing / Academic Edition: Provides 600 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. It also feat ures abstracts and indexing for more than 850 journals.

Periodicals (Newspapers / Magazines)

Baltimore Sun Archive: Provides free access to The Baltimore Sun archives from 1990-present.
Middle Search Plus: Provides full text for more than 150 popular magazines for middle and junior high school research. Articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and the inofrmation dates back to 1990.
Newspaper Source: Selected full text for regional U.S. newspapers, international newspapers, newswires, newspaper columns and other sources as well as indexing and abstracts for national newspapers.
Primary Search: Provides full text for more than 60 popular magazines for elementary school search. Articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator(Lexiles), and full text information dates back to 1990.

Nueva enciclopedia Cumbre en línea (Una encyclopedia en linea euyo énfasis es América Latina): Full-length online encyclopedia developed with the Spanish-speaking peoples of the Americas as its focus. Contains over 17,000 articles. Suitable for students of Spanish as well as native speakers. Uers must search the database in Spanish, but an English-Spanish dictionary is included.

Special Interests

Auto Repair Reference Center: The Auto Repair Reference Center is a full text database containing information on Repair procedures, service bulletins, service recalls, wiring diagrams, labor and quick tips for automobiles produced between 1954-2001. Not all types of automobiles are represented in the database and not all information is available for those automobiles that are represented in the database.
EBSCO Animals: Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexes, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.
ERIC: Educational Resource Information Center contains more than 2,200 educational digests along with references for additional information citations and abstracts from over 980 journals.
Gale Virtual Reference Library: Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized ref erence sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the lib rary, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your schoo l, your public library, or your office).
History Reference Center: The History Reference Center is the world's most comprehensive history database for today's libraries, with full text for more than 270,000 entries from a myriad of historical sources.
Science Resource Center: Researching science topics has never been easier -- with Science Resource Center, thousands of topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations are just a few clicks away and the latest scientific developments are covered in articles from over 200 magazines and academic journals and links to quality web sites. Live Homework Help (Tutor.com): The live homework help is available seven days a week from 2 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. Eastern time in the subjects of math, science, social studies, and English. Students can connect to a tutor through any computer with Internet access, including computers at their local public library or at home. This service is brought to you by Eastern Shore Regional Library and provided to the eight county libraries on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Searchasaurus: A magazine index made especially for kids! It searches Primary Search and Middle Search Plus for full text magazine and encyclopedia articles, pictures, and Encyclopedia of Animals.
Testing and Education Reference Center: This online education resource provides everything a student needs to learn more about further education and assists in making informed decisions on their future from one single, handy database. Testing & Education Reference Center also features interactive online practice tests for preparatory examinations including entrance exams and certification and licensing tests. Some of the standardized tests included are: AP exam, SAT, GRE, civil service exams for places of employment like the U.S. Post Office, NCLEX for nurses, real estate, military, PRAXIS for teachers, and GRE. In addition to the standardized tests, this resource offers online information about private high schools, colleges and universities, graduate schools, and specialty schools.
